ILDC is an online law reporting service focusing on the way that courts from countries around the world deal with matters of international law. With the increased salience of international law in national legal systems, through cases involving, amongst other matters, human rights claims, contested arbitral awards, and disputes over the immunities of politicians and states, the subject is now at the forefront of international legal research. This online service highlights the full range of jurisprudence around the globe in a format that makes it easy to pinpoint specific legal issues and to compare how these issues have been dealt with in different jurisdictions.
A vital resource for both lawyers in practice and legal scholars in a rapidly evolving field, ILDC tracks the changes in the law as they occur: cases from over 60 countries are updated bi-monthly to include new cases and subsequent developments in already featured ones. Cases are selected by local reporters in conjunction with our editorial board and include full texts of judgments in their original language and translations of key passages of non-English judgments into English. There are currently 113 cases online with around another 50 scheduled to be published by January.

• Each case includes Facts, Held, Commentary and Judgement
• Traditional head notes are supplemented by analytical commentary
• Each case includes a static reference number for citation
• You can print the full report or the Head note only
• Judgements in the original language and translation into English
• View the translated text only, or view both side-by-side
• OpenURL compliant
• Direct access by I.P. address - remote access available through a variety of options
• Initially includes an archive going back to the start of 2000
• Over 150 cases added each year
• New cases will be added in as little as 8 weeks after the original judgement was given
