The developed set of exercises was implemented and tested during practical EFL classes for undergraduate students following the educational program 38.03.06 “Trade business” in the Institute of Industrial Management, Economics, and Trade at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University in October and November 2023.The results of the conducted experiment showed an improvement in all developed criteria for assessing skills of polylogue speech. Students from the experimental group demonstrated increased interest in the developed set of exercises, which influenced an increase in motivation and engagement during English language classes.
