It is commonly accepted by the scholars of linguistics that the grammatical structures of the English language are permeated by the existence of various constructions which are not found in some other languages. Some of these constructions include the usage of non-finite forms of the verbs, precisely the infinitive. One of such constructions is known as the subjective infinitive construction, or the Complex Subjects, as it is referred to by many Russian scholars. It should be noted that, taking into consideration the fact that the subjective infinitive construction does not possess the similar variety in the Russian language, its profound investigation in different styles of the language appears to be of a particular interest.
